More Wii Hacks

Update: A couple more cool hacks from that guy here. Think he's trying to get hired by the big N?

The Tip of the Iceberg

Thanks to really smart people working on hacks for the Wiimote I'm starting to get the feeling that developers have really only started to figure out what cool stuff can be done with the Wii hardware. I'm beginning to wonder if the Wii is going to have a longer than expected lifespan because people are going to continue to find new and exciting ways to make use of the input technology.

Well, back to Metroid Prime 3.

Brian at 3 AM

Hey - this is my 100th Blog Post here!

Here's another one of the videos I directed for the Wasteland Comedy Hour. Yes, I really did wake myself up for 3 nights at 3 AM. Yes, I really did fall asleep while filming. Yes, I really did film this 2 weeks after getting married. And yes, I am an awful person.

Cat Password

The Wasteland Comedy Hour has come to a close. I'm totally going to write more about my awesome experience with this amazing show, but in the meantime I'm going to post a sketch I've been meaning to put up here. It's "Cat Password" and it features my real cat. Isn't he great?

Speed Racer

Ummm... giving the Wachowski's control of 'Speed Racer' may have been a mistake. Judge for yourself.

Shine Get!

Here's a cool Wired article on in-game cameras - specifically how Mario Galaxy nails the concept. I can't wait to get my hands on Mario Galaxy (still working on Metroid Prime 3 though) and have recently become an avid Wired reader. Worlds colliding.

New York Magazine's 20 Funniest Web Videos of 2007

Was led to New York Magazine's 20 Funniest Web Videos of 2007 since David Wain's web series was on there, but I'm going to check some of these other videos out at a later date. Some stuff is pretty common and boring, but looks like a good mix of quality stuff as well. And it also includes things that I have wanted to see but never got around to, like Wainy Days.

Google Testing

I'm checking to see if I can post to my blog via a Google Document. Well, can I?

Update - that took a little while, but I figured it out. Awesome and useful.
